TIPS ON HOLIDAY SPENDING

Ways To Make The Best Of Your Money

The holiday season is approaching fast, and we tend to get stressed out from trying to make sure we have that perfect gift for our loved ones. We anticipate getting the holiday shopping done and being pleased with our purchases. We are so busy running from store to store, that it seems as if we don't have the time to breathe. We have to get the latest toys for those little ones and the latest gadgets for everyone else. Well, stop and take the time to breathe. This year make out a budget and stick to it.

Plan to spend no more than the amount you determined and stick to that allowance by looking in the sales paper to discover bargains that will protect you from running up your credit card debt.

There are so many stores attempting to get your business, and they compete against each other to get you in their store by offering a lower price than the competition. Make sure when you go to the store, you get the item you went for and don't add a lot of other things to the carton unless they are necessary.

Purchasing Holiday Gifts

You don't want to end up so stressed out that you can't enjoy Christmas.

If you are not sure what to purchase for your loved ones, give them a pre-paid Visa card or gift certificate to a place they like; such as a
  • restaurant,
  • clothing store
  • toy store,
  • gym,
  • or salon.

Most children love toys, point-blank!

When you give some small children clothing, they may glance at the clothing like " What's this"?

They may even ask you, "WHERE IS MY TOY"? Lol. You know how children can be!!

You may also desire to get children something that will benefit them in the future; such as, savings bonds. Invest in their future for Christmas.

Teenagers and adults, on the other hand, love gadgets, clothes, to work out, relax and feel positive about themselves. A nice outfit or day at a salon will make them look good; as well as, feel good from the relaxing scalp massage while going through the shampoo process.

That helps a lot of people relieve stress. I've heard men and women say that is one of the best parts of a salon visit. So you decipher, what's best for your family and friends' needs and desires. Be budget conscious of your choices.
